My first sales experience came from selling Case tractors &
equipment for JI Case Company for 11 years. I attended the World Wide College
of Auctioneering in Mason City in 1980, but it wasnt until 1986 when
I joined my wife Karen, full time in selling real estate & auctioneering.
It has been a privilege serving our clients with their real estate and auction
needs. From farm land, farm machinery, real estate or auction needs, I would
enjoy talking with you! When not working you find me spending time on the
acreage farm with my wife, dirt late model racing or fishing.

I received my real estate license in 1981 and then in 1984 started
Richard Realty & Auction, Inc. Being the broker of the office, allows
me to be in contact with each real estate transaction. We have been blessed
with two adult children, Angie & Chris and their spouses, Jeremy and
Renee'. I enjoy scrapbooking, and spending time at home with Bo (our little
Chihuahua dog).

My wife, Renee', & I live in Mt. Pleasant and both are active
members of the New London Christian Church. Attending the World Wide College
of Auctioneering in Mason City, IA at 12 years old, it wasn't until after
college I pursued auctioneering full time in the family business. I attended
Hesston College, Hesston, KS and hold a Small Business Management Degree.
I am also an active member of the Iowa Auctioneers Association and excited
about the auction profession and the people that I have the opportunity
to serve. I enjoy spending time with family, dirt track racing & traveling.

My wife, Michelle and I are blessed with two children and live
on an active corn, soybean, hogs and cow calf operation near Wayland, Iowa.
I am a graduate of the World Wide College of Auctioneering and Iowa State
University in Agricultural Business and Agronomy. I have been active in
the auction and real estate business since 1994. I also am member of the
Iowa Auctioneers Association, Lions Club, Wayland Economic Development &
Sugar Creek Mennonite Church. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with
my family, friends and team roping. |

Going to cattle auctions with my dad is what sparked my interest
in auctioneering. I attended the World Wide College of Auctioneering at
age 16. I grew up in rural Mt. Pleasant and have continued the family farming
tradition. I conduct many auctions, including machinery, cattle, benefit
& estate auctions. I also enjoy helping the local 4H clubs with the
county fair auctions. I love spending time with daughter, Alyvia and boating.
